Couple has 6 steps and includes Invite partner. The notification screen mentions messages from the partner in The Bridge, and on the last screen The Bridge is waiting for the partner to join.
Solo has one step fewer (5 instead of 6) because it skips Invite partner. After the questions it goes straight to the notices. The notification screen no longer talks about The Bridge, and on the last screen The Bridge is locked with “Available once you add a partner” instead of “Waiting for your partner to join”. A Solo user can add a partner later, without losing anything.
